Our star moment with Nehera a Mária Švarbová in London
Mária Švarbová is one of the prominent figures of world photography that we have managed to cooperate with thanks to the Nehera fashion brand. She is known primarily for her atmospheric, almost dreamlike scenes from communist-era swimming pools.
She also used her iconic themes in our joint project and moved it along even further. The connection with the clean lines of Nehera’s fashion collection produced mesmerising photos full of the harmonious imbalance between Western and Eastern aesthetics.
Mária Švarbová’s photos owe the eye-soothing contrast that emerges from them to friction between areas of striking colourfulness or the models’ gestures and to the almost tangible peacefulness of the environment in which they are placed.
This shared vision became an inspiration for the luxury London boutique, Fenwick. To mark the launch of a new collection, we oversaw the production side of styling its window displays in the form of a makeshift swimming pool like the one known from the photos.
