Volkswagen Slovakia is one of the fundamental pillars of Slovak industry and after twenty years in the country it is a traditional and truly major employer – the number of people working at the Bratislava plant has reached 12,300 and continues to grow.
Volkswagen Slovakia also has a lot to offer – whether it’s the numerous excellent benefits, the working environment or cutting-edge world-class technologies. It is flourishing and wants to make sure that it’s not just its employees that know it but also its potential job candidates.
This was the exact assignment in its call for bids we took part in, and since we are writing this article, we were also successful in it.
Quite easily – we summarised everything we described above into one brief and true idea: Volkswagen Slovakia and its employees can rightly be proud to work there.
We realised that it was important for the campaign to be authentic, so it is real colleagues that talk to the employees – the people you will really meet at Volkswagen Slovakia. The campaign features individuals, families and entire generations, who can talk about their work from first-hand experience. This means that the people talking about the plant really know something about it.
Of course, the campaign was not limited to visuals. It includes the www.praca-vw.sk website providing detailed information about work at Volkswagen Slovakia for every potential candidate. After reading through it, candidates can apply for one of the numerous open positions on the same website.
The radio adverts are also packed with pride. Different people engage in a ‘bragging contest’ talking about modern technologies, new cars and attractive benefits. But, much to their surprise, the mothers, sons and daughters finally realise they are proudly talking about the same thing – work at Volkswagen Slovakia.
What can we say in conclusion? Our cooperation with Volkswagen Slovakia started with a campaign we are proud of.
